Your heart’s on the loose
You rolled them seven’s with nothing lose
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind

You called all your shots
Shooting 8 ball at the corner truck stop
Somehow this don’t feel like home anymore

And this ain’t no place for the weary kind
And this ain’t no place to lose your mind
And this ain’t no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try

Your body aches…
Playing your guitar and sweating out the hate
The days and the nights all feel the same

Whiskey has been a thorn in your side
and it doesn’t forget
the highway that calls for your heart inside

And this ain’t no place for the weary kind
And this ain’t no place to lose your mind
And this ain’t no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try

Your lovers won’t kiss…
It’s too damn far from your fingertips
You are the man that ruined her world

Your heart’s on the loose
You rolled them seven’s with nothing lose
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind

"... Things that cannot be true, that must be inventions and fables, part of the world of children wandering lost in the forest, of talking cats and silver boots filled with blood. In this world, dismembered children buried beneath juniper trees can rise and speak, made whole once again."

I've been contemplating suicide,
But it really doesn't suit my style,
So i think i'll just act bored instead
Who can take the blood i would've shed?

She makes me feel so ill at ease)
My heart is really on it's knees
But i keep a poker face so well
That even mother couldn't tell

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a permanent shiver down my
Spine

I keep her photograph against my heart
For in my life she plays a starring part
All alcohol and cigarettes
There is no room for cheap regrets

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a permanent shiver down my
Spine

She makes me feel so ugly
My heart is really on it's knees
But i keep a poker face so well
That even mother couldn't tell

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a perennial shiver down my

"We're freaks, that's all. Those two bastards got us nice and early and made us into freaks with freakish standards, that's all. We're the tattooed lady, and we're never going to have a minute's peace, the rest of our lives, until everybody else is tattooed, too."

I'm gonna steal a silver stallion
With not a mark upon his silky hide
And teach him he can trust me like a sister
One day we'll saddle up and ride

And we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride
Ride like the one-eyed Jack of Diamonds
With the Devil close behind
We're gonna ride, we're gonna ride

I'm gonna find me a reckless man
Razor blades and ice in his eyes
Just a touch of sadness in his fingers
Thunder and lightning in his thighs

And we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride
Ride like the one-eyed Jack of Diamonds
With the Devil close behind
We're gonna ride, we're gonna ride

I'm gonna chase the sky forever
With the man, the stallion and the wind
The sun is gonna burn into a cinder
Before we ever pass this way again

And we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride
Ride like the one-eyed Jack of Diamonds
With the Devil close behind
We're gonna ride, we're gonna ride

A young cowboy named Billy Joe grew restless on the farm
A boy filled with wonderlust who really meant no harm
He changed his clothes and shined his boots
And combed his dark hair down
And his mother cried as he walked out

Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

I just can't answer for you, only for your bones, round rulers, round nudgers, round poles, numb nubkins, the sword of sugar. I feel the skull, Mr. Skeleton, living its own life in its own skin.
